Robbie Knievel will Jump Mirage Hotel-Casino’s Restored Volcano

With close to one year of resting, the Mirage Casino and Hotel’s prominent volcano will be revived better and more fantastic than in the past. The popular Las Vegas, Nevada hotel and casino is doing their best to interest as many vacationers as they can to check out their restoration.

This upcoming New Year’s Eve, the daredevil Robbie Knievel will try a motorcycle jump over the Mirage Hotel’s artificial volcano. This stunt will commemorate the finale of a three-year transformation of the LV casino and hotel. During this period, the Sin City hotel and casino has spent more than $110 million upgrading their rooms and suites.

This New Year’s Eve jump is supposedely Knievel’s final stunt in the United States. The act will go on for 5 mins. and include fireworks and a modern soundtrack. The music for the feat has been recorded by Mickey Hart (former Grateful Dead drummer). Robbie Knievel is the son of the deceased Evil Knievel-the world’s first and most recognized daredevils.

The LV Mirage was constructed in 1989 by LV tycoon Steve Wynn and was deemed as Sin City’s 1st megaresort. This reconstruction is one of a set of hotels on the Sin City Strip as of late. The casino-hotel desires that this stunt will invite a big number of sightseers to the Sin City hotel. The inspiration behind the reconstruction is to outshine other popular Vegas hotspots like the Bellagio megaresort.
